The Foundation supports higher education, institutions or projects serving the common good, and scientific research, by granting stipends to individuals, work groups or organisations. Foreign citizens are also eligible.

In odd-numbered years (e.g. 2017, 2019, 2021 etc.) stipends are granted for higher education and the common good, in even-numbered years (e.g. 2018, 2020, 2022 etc.) for scientific research.

General instructions for 2017

In 2017, the stipends will be granted for higher education and the common good. The application period begins on April 1st and ends on April 30th, 2017.

The application is made and submitted electronically via this web service (- Application), including all appendices, which are attached as electronic files. The average sum of a single grant is 3000 euros. A list of all recipients and purposes of the stipends granted will be published on the Foundation's web page on 3 July, 2017, and at the same time recipients will be personally informed by letter. No advance information regarding the decisions will be given.
